Peerly should feel useful, direct, and safe for HKU peers. These are the rules moderators use to keep the community trustworthy.

Do not target people or groups with harassment, threats, slurs, unwanted sexual content, or discriminatory comments.
No scams or unsafe meetups
Do not misrepresent listings, collect money dishonestly, pressure users, or organize meetups in a way that creates avoidable safety risks.
Protect personal information
Do not post private contact details, IDs, class records, addresses, faces, or screenshots without permission.
Report issues
Use report and block tools when something looks unsafe. Moderators can review reports and take action when needed. Peerly's explicit rules against child sexual abuse and exploitation are published in the Child Safety Standards.
Public activity adds accountability
Your public profile can show posts, replies, and meetup participation. This helps peers understand each other before chatting or joining meetups, and makes misuse easier to report and moderate.
